What Am I To Make Of This???

Grocery shopping just got more complex: Do I pick the “current, modern” soda with artificial sweetners or do I pick the “throwback” soda, now made with real sugar? When did real ingredients become a nostalgic thing we must long for? In our rush to get our soda fix with less fat and calories we’ve swapped sugar for chemicals in the past few decades. So now that we’re facing an obesity epidemic, largely due to our fascination with soda (among many other things), is now really the time for this “throwback” soda?
